About Me

Hi there! My name is Deidra (pronounced Dee-dra) . Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my site. I finally took the plunge to start my photography business journey in 2021 and so far I have no regrets about it-just excitement for where this journey takes me.

Photography has been a hobby of mine since my sophomore year of high school. I started using film camera and developing my pictures in the my school’s dark room. Very first well known photographer I learned about was Ansel Adams. Since then, it has been an on and off hobby over the years. It was in 2020 I started taking my photography more serious again and obviously as a collective we all had plenty of time on our hand to find hobbies and other things to occupy our time during those long days. It was then, my love for photography reignited again and I understood why this art form is so appreciated and valued.

I currently live in the Northern Virginia area and have been here the last 12 years and really enjoy it.

On my down time I enjoy; traveling, reading, writing, discovering new teas, and most importantly watching endless videos on YouTube.

I hope I can capture these beautiful moments for you. The most important thing for me is to make the whole process seamless and painless for you and at the end you have amazing photos you will love. My biggest goal is ensuring that you are COMFORTABLE at every step of the way.

3. I have a collection of vinyl record of my favorite artist and album from them.
4. I can watch HGTV all day.
5. I love Chocolate Chip Cookies and anything with Peanut Butter and Chocolate combo!
6. I love spicy food.
7. I have ridden a motorcycle before.
8. Did a road trip across the eastern United States.
9. I enjoy playing Tennis
